Formscan By Mark Nunan - A classy contest and best in at the weights is CITY OF MEMPHIS. The Sioux Nation filly won a maiden first time out last year before finishing a fine fifth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. Less than a length behind the subsequent Coronation Stakes heroine Cercene on that occasion, she has been absent since but her trainer has found what looks a suitable starting point for the season. Lord Massusus is a course and distance winner and a proven stakes-class performer. The handicapper dropped him 4lb for his latest run at Leopardstown, but he actually ran well in a strong contest. Cowardofthecounty finished behind Lord Massusus then, but showed up well for a long way on seasonal debut. %0A

Quotes on Tina's Indian (IRE)
It was a good opportunity for the horse on ratings. We got a little bit anxious there for a minute. Ronan was good on him and let him stride on. I thought Diego (Dias)’s horse was coming there to do us but to be fair to the horse he did pick up. He won well enough at the line. After the gelding operation he seems to be going a lot better. Whether we chance the all-weather or not we don’t know, but we’ll have that discussion with Ronan. After Tina's Indian (IRE) finished 1st at Curragh on Sun, 2nd Nov 2025 7f Flat Heavy

Quotes on Lord Massusus (IRE)
he got a little bogged down in the ground at the Curragh the first day where seven furlongs probably didn’t suit him either. We expected a better run that day but were very disappointed coming home. We put the hood on and he settled better today: he has been over-racing through his races a little bit. we’ll keep him to Listed and Group 3s here and maybe come back here on Champions Weekend for the Boomerang Stakes. He’ll be a solid horse in all those Listed and Group races here and at the Curragh for the season. We tried him in a Group 1 last year and he’s just not quite that level but he’s very solid at this level and he’s able to carry the penalties. People say he’s effective on soft ground but that was in a nursery and in a conditions race as a two-year-old, but this - and quicker, is his preferred surface. After Lord Massusus (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Wed, 9th Apr 2025 1m Flat Good

Quotes on Saracen (FR)
He was impressive, he's a nice colt and had been showing up well at home,. He was going to make his debut a few weeks ago but just had a little setback. He quickened up really smartly there and looks like a smart horse for next season. I'm delighted to have, what potentially looks like, a good horse for Al Shaqab and the team. They've been good supporters of ours. This guy will come back for a Guineas trial in the spring. We were a little bit worried about ground conditions but you have no choice at this time of year. We were hopeful that he'd cope with them but given his pedigree and how he looks I'd expect him to be better on a faster surface. Obviously he'll have no problem going a bit further as well, given his pedigree. He's a smart colt and Dylan said he felt like he has a lot of speed. After Saracen (FR) finished 1st at Curragh on Tue, 22nd Oct 2024 6f Flat Maiden Soft

Quotes on City Of Memphis (IRE)
We bought her off Katie Walsh at the breeze-ups last year and just waited with her. We haven't looked much, but she has plenty of ability and, everything she does, she does with ease. We were confident coming here that she would run a good race and I'm delighted she has won. When you go to the breeze-up sale, you pay your money and take your chance. We've been lucky with Alan (O'Flynn, owner). He asked me to buy him fillies in the past few years and we got Purple Lily the first year and now this one, so he has two nice fillies. We'll take her home now, and aim to go up the grades, hoping to get black-type.After City Of Memphis (IRE) finished 1st at Cork on Tue, 6th May 2025 6f Flat Maiden Good
