Formscan  - ELLOMATE was a decent fifth on the Polytrack at Lingfield considering he stumbled leaving the stalls and had to race wide. His dam won over 7f, so this longer trip should not be a problem and Richard Hughes' gelding can take another step forward off his current mark. Leyhaimur finished clear of the rest when runner-up at Ffos Las on her nursery debut and is another to consider, while Lilly's Bet and Ballsgrove Boy have shown ability in novice company.
