An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line involving Turty Tree (IRE), placed second, ridden by Oisin Murphy and the winner, DEVIL’S PEAK, ridden by William Buick.
Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as he used his whip in his left-hand when Turty Tree (IRE) had already shown a tendency to drift right-handed, intimidating DEVIL’S PEAK off its intended line.
Thereafter, Murphy made sufficient effort to correct his mount.
