Permission was given for Thematic (USA) to be mounted on the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls when Dotties Dream (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Charlie Bennett, who interfered with Thematic (USA), placed fifth, ridden by Tom Queally.
Bennett was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift right- handed towards the rail causing Queally to have take a check in order to avoid clipping heels against the rail.
Rhys Clutterbuck, the rider of the winner, Rafiot (USA) was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from 2 furlongs out.
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that Lion Face (IRE), placed third, hung both ways.
