Permission was given for Naana's Sparkle (GB), Far Above Dream (IRE) and Jm Jhingree (IRE) to wear a red hood to post, for Brummell (IRE) to be led to post early, and for Water Of Leith (IRE) to go early to post.
Lion's House (GB), trained by Linda Perratt, ran the previous day at Newcastle finishing fourth of fourteen runners.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
The Starter reported that Water Of Leith (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 7:11pm.
Jim Goldie was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Brummell (IRE), ridden by Tom Kiely-Marshall interfered with Naana's Sparkle (GB), placed third, ridden by Rowan Scott, Far Above Dream (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Warren Fentiman and Jm Jhingree (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Rhys Elliott.
The interference was found to be accidental as Brummell (IRE) hung quickly left-handed despite the riders best efforts, taking Naana's Sparkle (GB) off its intended line, further taking Jm Jhingree (IRE) off its intended line, resulting in the rider of Far Above Dream (IRE) having to take a check on the rail.
