An enquiry was held to consider possible interference 2 furlongs out, between Vibrant Pearl (GB), placed second, ridden by David Nolan, and the winner Maddelina (GB), ridden by Jason Hart.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, after which it was found that no interference had taken place as Hart was already edging right-handed before Nolan had committed for a run round Radio Star (IRE), who had also lugged right-handed off the rail.
