Approaching the final two furlongs, Marmelo (GB), placed fifth, lugged left-handed taking Cypress Creek (IRE), unplaced, which was dropping back at the time, momentarily off its intended line.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Marmelo (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Morando (FR), unplaced, was struck into on its right-hind leg.
John Gosden reported that Lah Ti Dar (GB), which started favourite and finished sixth, was unsuited by the downhill section of the track and the camber at Epsom.
