An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference from approaching the final furlong, involving the winner Castle Rock (GB), ridden by Toby Moore, Explosive Finnish (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Hallo Spaceboy (GB), placed second, ridden by Kieran Shoemark.
Being a 7Ib Claiming Apprentice, Moore was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
In the first incident, Moore was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, taking Explosive Finnish (GB), slightly off its intended line.
In the second incident, Moore was cautioned for careless riding as he was slow to correct his mount from hanging left-handed taking Hallo Spaceboy (GB) off its intended line.
Following the race, Kieran Shoemark reported that Hallo Spaceboy (GB), placed second, became unbalanced in the dip.
