The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that E.A. Fitzgerald , rider of Arcanears , weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Mr. N. Kelly. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that E.A. Fitzgerald was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record in this regard cautioned him on this occasion
