The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Tina's Indian, ridden by G.M

Ryan, Gazelle D'or, ridden by W.J. Lee and Little Queenie, ridden by Reese Holohan, where it appeared Tina's Indian had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he had to take a check off heels but felt it did not affect his finishing position. W.J. Lee stated that he maintained his line. Reese Holohan stated that his mount was running around and became unbalanced. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Reese Holohan, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays. Senior Rider C.D. Hayes accompanied Reese Holohan for this enquiry

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Howd'yadoit, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

G.M. Ryan, rider of Tina's Indian, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check inside the final furlong

Reese Holohan, rider of Little Queenie, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the home straight
