After jumping the last hurdle, Maccloud (IRE), placed third, hung left carrying Morgenstern (FR), placed second, off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
Following the race, Kevin Brogan reported that Maccloud (IRE) hung left throughout.
