The Stewards requested a report from Thomas Mullins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Some Hawk (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. He reported that his yard had been under a cloud at the time of this animals runs at Naas and Fairyhouse but recent performances of his other runners suggests that the animals have returned to full health. He also was of the opinion that todays better ground and the extended trip of two miles and six furlongs contributed to the win. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
