THE VISIT SRI LANKA HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) (London Sprint Series Qualifier) Permission was given for Magnificent Mel (IRE) to go early to post.
The winner, Houdini Miss (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 13 February 2026, where the filly finished sixth of eight runners, beaten by 21½ lengths.
James Horton’s representative’s explanation that Houdini Miss (IRE) may have benefited from a drop back in trip from 7 furlongs to 6 furlongs and the filly may also have been suited by a return to Kempton Park, was noted.
Houdini Miss (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, John Egan reported that Saeculamation (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
