An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving the winner, Triple Double A (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy and Dandy Khan (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
The interference was found to be accidental as Triple Double A (IRE) edged slightly right- handed causing O’Neill to take a check when tightened for room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately a furlong out involving Hot Frank (GB), unplaced, ridden by Hector Crouch; Pay Attention (GB), placed third, ridden by Jamie Spencer; Callout (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Callum Shepherd and Dandy Khan (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
O’Neill was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he switched his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Pay Attention (GB) causing Spencer to take a check.
Continuing further left without timely correction O'Neill gave a bump to and moved Shepherd off his intended line resulting in Crouch having to check off the heels of Callout (IRE).
Race 2 - 3:05pm.
THE GABBY FULLBROOK MEMORIAL NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for DISPLAYING; SINGING IN PARIS (IRE) and VECU (IRE) to all wear a red hood to the start; for TORRITI (FR) to go early to post.
The Starter reported that SINGING IN PARIS (IRE) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 3:06pm.
Ian Williams was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that SINGING IN PARIS (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Following the race, William Carver reported that DISPLAYING, placed third, ran green and hung both ways.
Pierre Louis Jamin reported that WOOTTON PALACE, unplaced, hung left-handed in the home straight.
