Permission was given for Grey Phoenix (IRE) and Sixteen One (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Rounding the first bend, a free-running Orangesandlemons (GB), placed second, had to be checked after becoming awkwardly placed close to the heels of Sweet Couture (IRE), placed third.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Sixteen One (GB), unplaced, ridden by Grace McEntee; Holywell Bay (GB), unplaced, ridden by Chloe Lyons and Phrygia (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
McEntee was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her horse to move left- handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Holywell Bay (GB), which was slightly hampered and made brief contact with Phrygia (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1½ furlongs out involving Quick To Decide (GB), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris and Holywell Bay (GB), unplaced, ridden by Chloe Lyons.
The interference was found to be accidental as Holywell Bay (GB) had shifted left-handed away from the whip at the same time as Quick To Decide (GB) lugged slightly right-handed, resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced after making contact.
A short distance later, Quick To Decide (GB), which was being ridden to hold its position between runners then shifted quickly right-handed and bumped heavily with Holywell Bay (GB).
Approaching the home bend, Sixteen One (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed off the rail despite its rider's efforts to correct the filly, carrying Holywell Bay (GB), unplaced, wider off its intended line.
Approaching the ½ furlong marker, Phrygia (GB), unplaced, shifted right-handed whilst racing greenly, hampering DIXIE’S DELIGHT, unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Sweet Couture (IRE), placed third, hung right- handed in the home straight.
