The winner Gale Mahler (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Kelso on 22 March 2025, where the mare was pulled up.
Adrian Keatley explained that the mare may have benefitted from the first-time application of a tongue-tie on this occasion.
His explanation was noted and Gale Mahler (IRE) was routine tested.
