Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
Free Handshake (FR) became unsettled at the start, tried to charge the tape and unseated Connor Brace resulting in the gelding cantering loose for approximately 50 yards.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and Doctor respectively, both were deemed fit to race.
Following the race, Connor Brace reported that Free Handshake (FR), which started second-favourite and was pulled up, stopped quickly.
