she's unbelievable and was very tough again today. We took the hood off her recently, as I felt other horses were joining her before she knew they were there. Now she hears them coming, that's my theory anyway!. She was fine after her Tramore fall, but was on the go a long time so we gave her a break: she normally runs nearly every fortnight. We are able to put a programme together over hurdles and fences and she'll continue to mix it.

it's the first horse I've had for Denis O'Brien so I'm very pleased. I've been trying to get him to buy some more horses, but to no avail yet. Our Solider is a nice stayer-come chaser in the making. I think ground is important to him, as he likes the better ground.

he has had a few problems. It took us a while to find them but we found them eventually, and he seems a different horse. He is a little bit of a monkey in his own way but has just turned a corner. He is a stayer and he doesn't have much of a turn of foot. We have no immediate plan, but if he had run well today, we might look at the Connacht National or maybe the Midlands National.
