- Stewards Report
Permission was given for Mishriff (IRE), Westover (GB) and Emily Upjohn (GB) to each wear a red hood to post.
Mishriff (IRE), ridden by James Doyle and trained by John and Thady Gosden had failed to parade past the stands.
James Doyle and Thady Gosden were interviewed.
Satisfied that the colt had been unruly in the chute, no further action was taken.
The performance of Emily Upjohn (GB) which finished last of the six runners, beaten by 25 lengths, was considered.
It was noted that Thady Gosden could offer no explanation for the performance of the filly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Emily Upjohn (GB) during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, James Doyle reported that Mishriff (IRE), placed third, was slowly away and Colin Keane reported that Westover (GB), placed fifth, ran too freely.
