An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, involving the winner, Nursia (GB), ridden by Oisin McSweeney, See That Spark (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Hart, and Evelyn's Garden (GB), unplaced, ridden by Greg Fairley.
McSweeney was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had made a misjudgement when suddenly switching out right-handed, causing See That Spark (GB) to be taken off its intended line, which in turn caused Fairley to also be moved off his intended line and Evelyn's Garden (GB) to become unbalanced as a result.
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Million Gold (GB), placed third, hung left-handed.
Greg Fairley reported that Evelyn's Garden (GB), unplaced, was slowly away.
