The winner Grandlad (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 11 July 2025, where the gelding finished tenth of ten beaten 10¼ lengths.
James Horton explained that the gelding started better on this occasion having been slowly away at Newmarket and enjoyed being able to dominate in a small runner field today.
Grandlad (IRE) was routine tested.
