Approximately half a furlong out, Kilnew Supreme (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed, before being corrected by its rider and in doing so bumped and briefly unbalanced the winner, No Way Jay (IRE), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Harry Cobden reported that Kilnew Supreme (IRE), placed second, hung left- handed up the straight and James Bowen reported that Miracles Do Happen (GB), unplaced, hung badly right-handed.
The Veterinary Officer examined Miracles Do Happen (GB), post-race and had nothing to report.
