Approximately one furlong out, the winner, Beaujolais Nouveau (GB), edged slightly left-handed, which caused the rider of Anaisa (GB), placed fourth, to take a slight check when briefly crowded for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Beaujolais Nouveau (GB).
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Space Bear (IRE), unplaced, became unbalanced on the undulations.
