The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Arvana Belle (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Rod Millman’s explanation that the filly had benefited from the drop in class from a class 5 on its previous start at Windsor on 11 August 2025 to a class 6 on her nursery handicap debut on this occasion, was noted.
Arvana Belle (IRE) was routine tested.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching one furlong out involving, Could Be The Move (IRE), placed second, ridden by Christian Howarth and the winner, Arvana Belle (IRE), ridden by George Wood.
The interference was found to be accidental as despite Howarth’s best efforts, Could Be The Move (IRE) hung right-handed, taking Arvana Belle (IRE) off its intended racing line.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Highlighting (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
