The winner, Into Overdrive (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wetherby on 16 February 2022 where the gelding finished fourth of twelve runners, beaten by 37 lengths.
It was noted that Mark Walford’s explanation that the gelding benefited from cheek pieces being fitted for the first time and the gelding being ridden more positively on this occasion.
Into Overdrive (GB) was routine tested.
