White Noise provides Festival joy for Bellamy
Meetmebythesea powers to Festival glory
He was very good. He was quick and nimble when he needed to be and he was bold when he needed to be. I don’t think I wanted him to be that far forward, but he was enjoying himself and I’m delighted for JP, who is a huge supporter of the industry. I’ve been training for 13 years and to have the support of someone like that helps a lot. This was one of the darts we hoped would run really well this week and it’s nice to see it come off.
Wodhooh lifts Mares’ Hurdle prize for Elliott
It’s hard to have winners here, the ball just wasn’t bouncing, but thankfully we’re on the board now. I’m delighted for myself and staff and my owners. The race worked out great and Jack gave her a peach. She idled a bit up the straight but she picked up again and she’s something else. It’s hard to know how good she is as she doesn’t do anything fancy at home, but we’re lucky to have her. She could go to Aintree, she ran well there last year (second to Lossiemouth).

Heart Wood too good for Ryanair rivals
We’re delighted to get on the board. It was getting a bit sketchy there I have to admit, but that was brilliant, Darragh was brilliant on him and he jumped amazing. He ran a blinder last year when we rode him to be placed, whereas this year we said we’d go out and give it a real go. He just winged fences and it was one of those dream races. It’s getting harder and harder to win here. It’s been even more competitive this week when you see the numbers in the fields. We have a great team at home, we all work hard and it’s great to get these rewards.
