Kasper Hauser wins on chasing debut

We wanted to run in the first race over two miles. I couldn't take on Gavin Cromwell's (Luker's Tipple) because he won the other night and, obviously, had no penalty. We said we'd try the two-six; it had been the plan to kind of hold him up a bit because we don't know if he stays or not. At the end of the day, Calum wasn't given any instructions, so he did what he had to do and he gave him a great ride. The horse always felt to me like he wanted three miles. He wasn't getting home as a juvenile, but obviously he was too big and weak. He's just getting stronger and good ground is the key to him. We plan to keep him going until September. The allowance is massive today - we were getting 12lbs. He's won two now so the job is done.

He's a fair horse to do what he did (carrying the winners' penalty). Even in Kilbeggan, with so little track experience, it was a hell of a performance. He was just unlucky the last day at Cork. A horse outside him was under the whip and set him alight. He launched at the hurdle, stepped at it and clipped the top. Overall, he's a very, very good jumper. We'll see how he is over the next few weeks before making any plans.

Rightfolksplease follows up Wexford success

Myself and my father had been keeping a close eye on him (since Wexford). My father left him out in the field for the full day and we watched him. He seemed in good spirits. He went out and he won on Saturday. Went out in the field on Sunday. He did two laps of the gallop Monday and two laps on Tuesday. Then out in the field for the rest of the day. I’m delighted. The owners are a great bunch of lads from south Kilkenny. To have the winner at Wexford the other day, and here at Tramore, is a dream.

I'm delighted with that. Lovely to get a winner here. We always enjoy having a winner at Tramore. I'm delighted for Pimlico, they are a great syndicate. Great supporters of ours. Really well run by Tom (Raine) and Nathaniel (Barnett). We hoped this might happen tonight.

O'Sullivan completes double on The Cobblers Wife

I don't know who benefitted financially, but there seemed to be a lot of money for her. Mick doesn't bet and I didn't back her. She had a good run here her for her previous trainer on her second-last start. She's well handicapped and, if she can improve a little and build on that, we'll go for the same type of race again. I don't know much about her. I only have her seven or eight weeks. She's a very straightforward filly that seems to like good ground. We'll make hay while the sun is shining.
