Permission was given for Charging Bull (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Middleton View (IRE) to be mounted on the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Lady Of Killarney (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Alistair Rawlinson, Raveena (GB), placed third, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, the winner, Middleton View (IRE), ridden by Billy Loughnane and Charging Bull (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Callum Hutchinson.
The interference was found to be accidental in that as the runners filtered into the bend, a free-running Charging Bull (IRE) latched on forcing Hutchinson to take a check off the heels of Middleton View (IRE).
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Charging Bull (IRE), placed fifth, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and was slowly into stride as a result and Sean Levey reported that Thecoffeepoddotco (GB), placed second, hung right-handed.
