The Stewards enquired into an incident at the track intersection involving The Mcgregornator, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fourth, Eacharn, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third and Istan (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action. Mr.David Nagle, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.
