THE BRITISH STALLION STUDS EBF RESTRICTED MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 2) (for horses in Band D) (EBF Restricted Race Qualifier) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for Mick's The Boy (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
The Starter reported that Mick's The Boy (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 2:57pm.
Michael & David Easterby were informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider an incident in the stalls prior to the start of this race, involving Anna Belardo (GB), drawn 1.
The rider, Alistair Rawlinson, the representative of Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole, the Veterinary Officer, the Starter, the Stalls Team Leader and the Stalls Handler were interviewed.
After hearing their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Following the race, Alistair Rawlinson reported that Anna Belardo (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
