An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving, Light Up Our Stars (IRE), placed third, ridden by Taryn Langley and Balqaa (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jason Hart.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Langley was accompanied by a senior rider.
Langley was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she shifted her mount right-handed when insufficiently clear of Balqaa (GB), causing the rider to take a check against the the rail.
Following the race, Sean Kirrane reported that Greenlightforgo (IRE), unplaced, stumbled leaving the stalls; Harry Davies reported that the saddle slipped on Likeashadow (IRE) and he therefore pulled up; and Alec Voikhansky reported that shortly after the start, Haaf A Diamond (GB), placed fourth, locked on and clipped the heels of Calcutta Dream (IRE), unplaced.
