An enquiry was held to consider why Sandy Thomson, was running Saint Leo (FR) here at Perth on going described as Good, having declared the gelding a non-runner at Ayr on 13 April 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that in his opinion the ground at Ayr was riding quicker than the official description, but having walked the track here at Perth he was happy for the gelding to take its chance.
