THE BETFRED 'THE CLASSIC BOOKMAKER' EBF RESTRICTED MAIDEN FILLIES' STAKES (CLASS 4) (for horses in Bands C and D) (EBF Restricted Race Qualifier) (GBB RACE) An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong, involving Tiora Time (GB), placed third, ridden by Neil Callan, Pearl Grace (GB), unplaced, ridden by M.
P.
Sheehy and Minnal (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Dylan Hogan.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Tiora Time (GB) as the filly was finishing strongly from behind and was always holding Minnal (GB), finishing ¾ of a length ahead at the line.
The incident was found to be accidental as Tiora Time (GB) shifted quickly left-handed before being corrected, intimidating Minnal (GB) off its intended line, which in turn caused Pearl Grace (GB) to become short of room against the rail and its rider to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Aminaty (GB), unplaced, stumbled badly approximately 2 ½ furlongs out.
