An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Expert Choice (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Cam Hardie, Londoner (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen, and Chuzzlewit (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tom Eaves.
Hardie was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to move right-handed towards the rail resulting in Mullen having to take back off heels and in so doing caused Chuzzlewit (GB) to be tightened for room against the rail.
