An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs out when Mr Moneypenny (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Joey Haynes, interfered with Trusty Scout (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jason Watson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Mr Moneypenny (GB), who was hanging left- handed at the time, suddenly ducked sharply left causing Watson to take a check.
Following the race, George Rooke reported that Essme (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run inside the final 2 furlongs and Joey Haynes reported that Mr Moneypenny (GB), placed sixth, hung left-handed.
