THE HRS CLADDING HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) The winner, Palamon (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wincanton on 5 March 2026 where the gelding finished fifth of five runners, beaten by 37½ lengths.
Dan Skelton’s representative was interviewed.
His comments that Palamon (IRE) benefitted from the combination of a return to quicker ground, officially described as Good, Good to Soft in places, and the reapplication of a tongue strap were forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority to be reviewed in conjunction with the previous performances of the gelding.
Palamon (IRE) was routine tested.
