Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the filly was deemed fit to race.
Hello Luna (FR), trained by Jonathan Portman lost a plate leaving the Parade Ring.
As the trainer had not indicated at declaration stage that the filly should be withdrawn in the event of losing a shoe, Hello Luna (FR), ran without its left-hind shoe.
The winner Jagetme (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chester, on 26 July 2025, where the filly finished last of seven runners, beaten by 13¾ lengths.
Mark Loughnane’s explanation that Jagetme (IRE) had benefited from a drop in grade and the application of fist time cheekpieces, was noted.
Jagetme (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Hello Luna (FR), placed fifth, was lame on its left-hind.
