The Starter reported that Spring Chorus (GB) broke out of the stalls and was withdrawn at 1:03 pm.

An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the bend involving the winner Lost In Time (GB), ridden by Robert Havlin; Fullforward (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by William Carson; Seattle King (GB), unplaced, ridden by Grace McEntee and Savoy Brown (GB), unplaced, ridden by Oliver Searle.
Searle was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as when racing on the outside of the field he failed to ensure that he left sufficient room for the runners on his inside causing Seattle King (GB) to be tightened for room on the rail and McEntee having to take a check.
Following the race, Grace McEntee reported that Seattle King (GB), unplaced, suffered interference rounding the bend.
