At the first fence on the final circuit, KAUTO D’AMOUR (FR), placed second, jumped right-handed at the same time as PETER’S PORTRAIT (IRE), which later unseated its rider, jumped left-handed resulting in the pair bumping heavily, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of KAUTO D’AMOUR (FR).
At the fifth last fence, PETER’S PORTRAIT (IRE) made a bad mistake and unseated its rider, hampering KAUTO D’AMOUR (FR), placed second, and also inconvenienced Steel Wave (IRE), placed fourth, and Seemingly So (IRE), placed third, which were both following the incident, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
