THE BET £20 GET £20 WITH UNIBET HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) (London Middle Distance Qualifier) Permission was given for Madjid (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the bend entering the back straight involving Pershalla (GB), placed third, ridden by Cieren Fallon and Rogue Desire (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Neil Callan.
Lewis Edmunds, the rider of Madjid (GB), placed second, was interviewed but having considered the evidence was found not to be involved in the incident.
The interference was found to be accidental as racing in a tightly packed field, Rogue Desire (FR) became short for room against the rail, causing Callan to take a check on the inside of a free running Pershalla (GB).
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Pershalla (GB), placed third, ran too free.
