An enquiry was held to consider interference after the third last hurdle involving Sacchoandvanzetti (IRE), placed second, ridden by Paddy Brennan, Ashington (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Scott, Chaos Control (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ciaran Gethings and Mr Tambourine Man (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Tudor.
Brennan was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he had edged left when insufficiently clear of Ashington (GB), resulting in Scott taking a check and being moved off his intended line which gave a slight bump to Chaos Control (IRE), moving that runner marginally left and causing Mr Tambourine Man (IRE) to clip heels.
