The winner, Rose Hip (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 11 May 2019, where the filly finished seventh of eleven, beaten by 9 ? lengths on Soft ground.
The explanation from Tony Carroll's representative that Rose Hip (GB) was hampered at Lingfield and appreciated the better ground at Nottingham was noted.
Rose Hip (GB) was routine tested.
The performance of Debawtry (IRE), which started favourite and finished sixth, was considered.
Phillip Makin's explanation that the filly was slowly away and would have appreciated a stronger gallop was noted.
