William Cox, the rider of Kurimu (GB) drawn 5, was slow to remove the blindfold.
Cox’s explanation that the filly dropped its head as the gates opened and took a second attempt to remove the blindfold, was noted.
The winner, Analytical Engine (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 17 July 2025, where the filly finished tenth of eleven, beaten 10 ½ lengths.
It was noted that Mike Murphy could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Analytical Engine (GB) was routine tested.
