He had to settle for second when sent off favourite on his Irish debut at Galway three weeks ago. The Spanish Moon gelding came off the bridle after pecking at the second last then and may have been closer to easy winner White Pepper but for that error. His stable-mate Doctor Churchill ran with promise when fourth on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse 11 days ago and could be a contender now with that run under his belt. Lunar Power comes into this off the back of an easy win on the Flat last month. Noel Meade's charge could only finish mid-division on his sole outing over timber at Down Royal in August but should have learned from the experience and it would be no surprise if he got a lot closer now.
