Formscan By Gary Carson - PURPLE MOUNTAIN has been put in here off a rating of 127 and looks capable of scoring off that kind of mark. The Willie Mullins-trained filly was a listed bumper winner and is two from two since going over jumps. She has been a bit fortunate on both occasions with stable-mate Gamin Original unseating at the last in Galway, when just in front, and San Salvador also exiting at the final light to leave her to claim a Grade 3 event at Tipperary. She was staying on strongly last time though and may well have won anyway. Mighty Meggsie also comes here on a hat-trick and could be the danger. The Arakan mare got 8lb for her course and distance win in handicap company last month but is a filly in form and should still be competitive. Gordon Elliott's runner Top Bandit won his maiden hurdle in Cheltenham last month and is another that has to come into calculations.
