Going - Yielding to Soft; changed to Soft after Race 2. Showery

Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - It promises to be closer between the pair now, but SISKIN is taken to confirm course and distance form with Monarch Of Egypt from the Railway Stakes on June 29th. That day Monarch Of Egypt was very easy in the market, perhaps not surprisingly given that he was having his first outing since winning his maiden on debut in April. He'll progress with experience and at least get closer than the two and a half lengths that he went down by in the Railway. You've got to love Siskin though, particularly when you think of Colin Keane's words: "He's like a pony at home and at the races. He walks around the place with his head between his legs and doesn't have a care in the world. It makes my job very easy." It would obviously mean a lot for the 24-year-old to provide Ger Lyons with a first Group One win in Ireland. With that 106 rating Royal Lytham needs respecting. Success for Mount Fuju or Think Big would be a shock. Unfortunately the weather looks like it could act as a spoil-sport with a lot of rain forecast. Anything could happen in such circumstances.
