Permission was given for Kindest Nation (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and wear a red hood to post, and for Lexington Belle (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend involving the winner, Legal Reform (IRE), ridden by Jason Hart, and Persuasion (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds.
Hart was cautioned for careless riding as he edged his mount left-handed without being fully clear of Persuasion (IRE), causing Edmunds to take a slight check.
The winner, Legal Reform (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Sandown on 12 September 2025, where the gelding finished fifth of nine runners, beaten 15½ lengths.
It was noted that Michael Herrington could offer no explanation for Legal ReformS (IRE)’s performance, other than that the gelding appeared more settled in the preliminaries on this occasion.
Legal Reform (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Kindest Nation (IRE), placed third, was denied a clear run two furlongs out.
