Permission was given for Thunder Blue (GB), Monsieur Fudge (GB), Nariko (IRE) and Dapper Valley (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the final furlong involving Monsieur Fudge (GB), placed third, ridden by David Egan, Ash Wednesday (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Cieren Fallon and Rey De La Batalla (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Oisin Murphy the rider of the winner, Nariko (IRE), was also interviewed but was found to have not been involved.
The interference was found to be accidental as Monsieur Fudge (GB) stepped quickly right-handed before being corrected, at the same time as Fallon shifted his mount right-handed into a diminishing but legitimate gap, causing Ash Wednesday (GB) to be taken slightly off its intended line, which in turn caused Marquand aboard a weakening EY DE LA BATALLA to take a precautionary check against the rail.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Dapper Valley (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
