Permission was given for Havana Tobouggaloo (GB) and Luan (FR) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 ½ furlongs out involving Guinness Lad (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Dougie Costello and Whatacracker (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Garritty.
Costello was cautioned for careless riding as he switched Guinness Lad (IRE) left-handed when insufficiently clear of Whatacracker (GB) causing Garritty to take a slight check.
Approaching the final two furlongs, Flame Dancer (GB), unplaced, changed leads and shifted quickly right- handed causing Noss Mayo (GB), unplaced, to clip a heel and stumble badly, resulting in Rodriguez becoming unbalanced.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding Daniel Muscutt, the rider of Luan (FR), unplaced, appearing to grab Callum Rodriguez, the rider of NOZZ MAYO, unplaced, approaching the final two furlongs.
Muscutt was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
He reported that having seen Rodriguez stumble and almost become unseated, he felt it prudent to attempt to help him back into the saddle.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Lady Of The Isles (IRE), placed fourth, hung right- handed.
