Permission was given for Amerjeet (GB) to wear a red hood to the start; for Miss Show Down (GB) and Tees Aggregates (IRE) and Style King (IRE) to all to go early wearing a red hood to the start; for Pont Neuf (IRE) to go early wearing a red hood to the start and to be mounted in the chute.

In the first incident inside the final furlong, Clutterbuck was cautioned for careless riding as he was slow to correct his mount from drifting left-handed which resulted in Wilkie being carried off his intended line.
For the second incident shortly after, Wilkie was cautioned for careless riding as he failed to take timely steps to prevent his mount from shifting left-handed causing Ryan to be moved of his intended line.
